Farmers Market I

For dinner tonight I ate BeerBrats sausages and From the King’s Table pasta. Both items were bought yesterday from the Main Farmers Market held at Thornton Park (at Main Street and Terminal Avenue) every Wednesday from 3-7pm.

Yummy, handmade organic grain pasta from North Vancouver.  There were whole grain varieties too. One bag for $6 and 3 for $21. Stays fresh in the fridge for a week.

Tasty and lean BeerBrats sausages made with local beer and sustainably raised meat from local farms. $7 for a frozen pack of 4.

I can’t vouch for the broccoli. It might be from California.

I’ll be trying out more food from the farmers markets this summer so come visit to see what’s deliciously local! I’m thinking of these cheesy breadsticks I saw…
